READATHON : BREEZY HOLLOW

Good day everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful Thursday.

I don’t usually post on Thursday’s but I found this readathon today, while scrolling on a break at work. And I just had to participate! I know I’m late to the game since it’s already 4th of March but, oh well.

Breezy Hollow readathon runs from March 1st to March 31st. So There’s plenty of time to participate still! It is Animal Crossing themed and that is exactly why I had to join. This one is called round 1: island setup. I love that game and have been playing a lot. This readathon is hosted by Ashley @Vivaciously Vintage. If you want to learn more about the readathon and rules and see all the prompts, you can find them here!

There is a choice to participate with 5 books or with 15. And me being quite a slow reader, I chose 5 books. That I can at least manage. Though it will be a challenge to read the exact books I’ve chosen today from my shelves, since I am a mood reader and my “TBRs” change more often than not just because I feel like reading something else.
But I am up for the challenge and super excited! So let’s take a look at the prompts and what books I have chosen to read to complete those.

O.W.L.s MAGICAL READATHON

owls

Hello! Long time no see! We have been going through stomach bug and flu and then coronavirus happened and put everything in a mess. I have been home for two weeks with kids now because we had normal flu and that way couldn’t go anywhere. Tomorrow we are getting back to work and daycare because I can’t afford to stay at home any longer. I want to trust that everyone will keep their sick kids at home so everyone can be at least relatively safe. I hope you are staying safe and healthy as well!!

But I decided to take part to the O.W.L.s this year!! It’s hosted by the lovely G @Book Roast and the timeline is from April 1st to April 30. So shall we see what I’m trying to accomplish during next month?

MAKEMEREADIT READATHON WRAP UP

unnamed

Hi guys! So the readathon is over and it’s time for a wrap up. I did manage to finish four books as was my goal. But I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. I wanted to finish more than that. Though that was not possible since The Man was back at work and it was just me and kids. So I’ll pat myself in the back for finishing 4 books, reading whenever I could get some time to read (I did it even while cooking and I have to say that it was somewhat hard :D).

Without further ado, let’s check out what I finished, how many pages overall and all that!

MAKE ME READ IT READATHON TBR

unnamed

Hi guys! So the readathon starts tomorrow and I’m super excited! I think this is the reason why I haven’t been able to get any reading done since Tuesday, sigh. I guess I was preparing myself for this reading sprint? I don’t know.

ANYWAY! I’ve tallied every single vote for the books I had on my polls. (Oh and I actually added Shadow and Bone in there also because that’s one unread book on my shelf too and I can’t believe I forgot it when I made the poll!)

Down below are the books in the order I will be reading them. I’ve listed them all in here with the total votes they got even though I said I’ll be trying to finish four of them. That’s my main goal but I’d be super proud of myself if I can finish even more than that!

Hi guys! It has been a really hectic day today. We had my daughter and son’s birthday today and I spent the whole day yesterday baking and today we had quests here the whole day. But now I’m here with something exciting to announce!

I’m participating in Make Me Read It readathon again this year! I did this one last year also and it was very fun and really challenged me to read more. So I was excited to see that it was happening this year also.

So the polls are now closed! Polls? Yeah, I had the same one running at Goodreads too. Thank you very much to all of you who voted! Now I’ve counted all the votes and thought that I’d update you guys with my TBR! Well you know the TBR already but the order I’ll be reading them. And of course the TOP 4 that’ll be my goal to, at least, finish during this readathon.
Enough babbling and let’s get on with it!
