What do you think you’ll read next?

Code Name Hélène by Ariel Lawhon
I’ve just started yesterday. Like barely finished the first few pages. I just needed to put the book down since I couldn’t keep my eyes open (fell asleep sitting on a chair during dinner also). But I have a feeling I’ll love this one!

Gallant by V.E. Schwab
The story in itself is okay. A family with powers to see ghosts, ghouls, whatever you want to call them. And with a task to keep something out of this world in it’s place. I would have liked some more information about all of this. You know, where, who, why, what? I’ve got a lot of questions about everything but very little answers.
But it is a medium paced book with some twists and turns that are somewhat foreseeable since the beginning. Gallant definitely has it’s moments when you just can’t put the book down. You got to read forward to see how it ends. But it does also has the moments when I was just wanting to put the book down and leave it there.

The Maid by Nita Prose
I haven’t really written any review for this book. I heard there’s something going on with HarperCollins so I thought I’d just not write one. But I did most definitely love this book, most of all Molly! And let me tell you, that ending made my whole week. It just made me so very happy.

I’m not too sure what I will pick up next. I was supposed to read All My Rage next but I accidentally took it back to the library. Kids were putting all the books in the returning machine or whatever and before my brain registered what I had accidentally left in the bag, it was already gone. I went to ask to borrow it again but someone had it on hold from a different library so they sent that one there. I don’t even know if this made any sense but I have it on hold again, though I don’t think I’ll be able to get it any time soon.
