We have reached yet another end of a week! I can’t believe how fast time runs by, feels like no matter how well I manage my timetables for the day, it just slips away.
End of the Week is my “weekly meme”, I guess I could say. Just to sum up what has happened at my blog, instagram and life. Like a wrap up but not that much for reading but for everything else.
BLOGGING
Monthly Wrap Up – First wrap up of the year and I had an ambitious month! 11 books read. Though I think most of them were graphic novels so I guess that made it a little easier to achieve that many books?
Top 5 Tuesday – This week we talked about the book that didn’t meet our expectations! It was surprisingly hard list to make. Though I know I had quite a list that of books that weren’t as good as I thought those would be. But I don’t think “it wasn’t worth the hype” is good enough reason for five books.
WWW Wednesday – I finally came to an end with Michelle Obama. Though I’m sad that it’s over, I’m so glad that I read it as an audiobook! I’m 100% certain that that’s what made the book 5 stars for me. Her voice is just so gentle and friendly, if this makes any sense. Like you were actually interviewing her to write that book.
Review – My review of Becoming!! Not much but I think it’s enough to tell my thoughts of it.

LIFE

It has been a rollercoaster for sure! Work has been mentally exhausting and it’s hard to try and stay inside my head and stop thinking about everything else. But I’ve made a promise for myself that I’ll keep doing this until my son has started his first year at school and is ready to leave to school alone, without either one of us parents sending him there. The school is practically in our backyard, you can see it from there. So his way to there is not dangerous or long. It’s super easy for him to make that way alone and I’m confident that he can do that. But once he can leave from home at the right time and is confident to be alone in the mornings, I’ll start looking for a new job.
It for sure sounds terrifying. Finding a new job, in a new place with completely strangers. I’ll survive that though, right?
I definitely did not remember how tough almost three year old’s negative age (?) is! Darn is she pushing my buttons with her little “practical jokes”, like she them calls. Spreading sugar everywhere, peeing in a potty chair and then soaking her socks in it and hiding those wet sock behind the toilet etc… I mean, how does she even come up with all her ideas?! 😀 And whenever you tell her not to do those things, she will only laugh at your face and say “oh? I didn’t know that”. She’s a handful, that little lady. Still as beloved as her siblings.
Thank you for reading! How has your week been?
