TOP 5 TUESDAY : BOOKS I’M MOST EXCITED TO READ THIS YEAR

First: I’M FINALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL!!! Gosh, after 6 month waiting for the teachers to get out of their vacations, sick leaves etc, I finally got an appointment with one who could receive my showing of the business plan I’d made. So now I can finally stop stressing about school and happily say that I’m a graduated horse groom! Sorry, I’m just so hyped up that today was the last day I had to drive 100 kilometers in one way to get to school and can finally proudly say I’m graduated!

Top 5 Tuesday is on a break today still and continues next week. But I thought I’d put out a list of my most anticipated reads for this year.

These are all my backlist books that I’m most excited to finally read this year. Either because I’ve finally bought them or I can read them from Scribd.

BETWEEN SHADES OF GRAY by RUTA SEPETYS

I read Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys years ago and boy did I love that book so much. I want to read her other books as well and would love to start with this one. Especially since this has been praised as much as Salt to the Sea.

LET’S PRETEND THIS NEVER HAPPENED by JENNY LAWSON

This book goes the same as Ruta’s book. I read Jenny’s other book, Furiously Happy, long time ago and enjoyed my time so much. I wanted to read more of her work since her other book brought so much joy, even though it covers a hard topic about depression.

THE SILVER CAGE by ANONYMOUS

I saw Sophie’s review of this book almost two years ago and that was enough to make me want to read this. I’ve been wanting to read this so much and 2020 is the year when I’m finally going to buy it!

THE DIVINERS by LIBBA BRAY

I believe this series gets it’s finale this year. This book has been on and off the spotlight throughout the years but now that the series is coming to an end, I can finally start reading it! I’m not good at waiting for next parts so there’s that.

THE SECRET HISTORY by DONNA TARTT

I’ve eyed this book every time I visit our library. But it has looked so intimidating even though truth to be told, it’s shorter than Tower of Dawn for example. But I’ve made my mind and 2020 will be the year when I read all the book I’ve wanted to read for a long time.

Do you have some backlist books you are excited to read?
