Hey guys! I’m here, I’m back. Stress levels are screaming red so I thought that even though I should be preparing for my showings, it’s no use if I’m way too anxious. And what better way to lower that than talking about books?!
Top 5 Tuesday is created and hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and todays topic is top 5 Gryffindor reads!
Gryffindor is the house which most values the virtues of courage, bravery and determination
Romanov by Nadine Brandes. This book has it all. Courage, bravery and determination. They are fighting for their family, to keep them save. That’s exactly what Gryffindors do, right?
Fawkes by Nadine Brandes. I think Fawkes goes with the same as Romanov, to be honest. Thomas is absolutely determined to stay alive, not turn into stone. But still he has to find his own way to live, it might not be the same as his father’s.

The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff. This trilogy is all about epic quests, kind of. Just like Harry and his friends. They have to be brave, they have to have courage to survive and determination to make it happen.
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. This book was the first that popped in my mind after seeing this weeks topic. I’m certain that Isabelle would be sorted to Gryffindor if she went there.
I Was Here by Gayle Forman. Even though this wasn’t my favorite book or anything, I still kind of wanted to put it in this list. It might not scream Gryffindor when you look at it but in my opinion, Cody has what it need to be a Gryffindor.
i thought Illuminae was a Gryffindor book as wellll, THEY’RE JUST SO ADVENTUROUS??? i sadly haven’t read any of the others, but i’m now adding Nightingale to my tbr.
i cannot wait for Slytherin week ldskjflsdkjf

I thought about putting Illuminae as a Gryffindor book, but I had just mentioned them multiple times recently and wanted to make sure people knew that I do read other books sometimes.

Illuminae has been chosen several times today so I’d say it’s a good fit! And The Nightingale is on my TBR!
