Hey guys! I’ve spent the last three nights after work (today included) at the vet with our dog. Today she finally had a major surgery, her womb and ovaries were removed and then they also took some samples from her spleen. After that surgery, she should be getting better and start eating again, so fingers crossed her only problem was putrid in her womb. She’s still a little groggy, which is good actually because that way she wasn’t able to do her happy dance when I went to pick her back home. Next two weeks she’s not allowed to jump, run or play, at all. So I don’t know what I’m going to do to prevent all those from happening. 😀
Hi guys, welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words. You can participate it too! Just answer the three questions below.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m almost done with A Man Called Ove. I have like 50 pages left, so I think I will finish it tonight. And let me be honest, this makes me so angry yet so happy at the same time. Ove is exactly the type of human being that I hate. I really don’t like people who are telling everyone all the time what they are allowed to do and what they aren’t. People who make unnecessary rules about everything. People who ie. keeps a parking spot taken just because they can and they don’t want certain someone to get it because they were driving too close and getting angry about him pulling the brakes.
I Was Here is my current audiobook I’m listening during my drive to work and back home. I’m liking it a lot actually! I’ve heard mixed reviews about this book and I’m still a little on the edge about how this will turn out. One thing that I really hope is not going to happen: romance. Even though I’m a sucker for good romances, I don’t feel like this book needs one.
I LOVED this book, okay?! Don’t even get me started. I really liked the magic system in their world. It was definitely something different from other books with magic in them, kind of the same thing like it was with Fawkes and their magic! Nadine Brandes really knows what she’s doing with all her magical things.
And Anastasia, oh I love her. And even though this book does contain things that didn’t really happen, I think it just made her story even better and I was left hoping that she would have experienced some of that stuff in real life back in her days.
I really need to read The Orphan Sisters, and I do really want to read that! But I’m also craving to continue with Celaena’s adventures. I might start these both next. The Orphan Sisters is an ebook so that could be my book to read during lunch breaks etc. And Queen of Shadows as an physical book to read every day after work at home.
