EDIT// Now I realized that I’m one week ahead with this post.. WELL, now I think I need to start looking at my calendar, or more specifically, the dates..
Hey guys! Happy New Year for everyone! Hope you had great time last night and your year has started well today.
Top 5 Tuesday is created and hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and todays topic is top 5 books I NEED to read in 2019! You know already that I’m doing Backlist Challenge this year and my TBR is humongous so there is A LOT of books that I need to read this year. But I promise to try my best and narrow it down to the top 5 books that I most want to read this year.
BOOK FIVE
Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham. This book has been on my TBR since it was published. I love Gilmore Girls and Lauren Graham. I don’t even have an excuse to why I haven’t read it yet. But this year, it will happen, maybe.
BOOK FOUR
Year One by Nora Roberts. First of all, it’s one book that counts toward my challenges and second of all, I’ve read probably 90% of Nora’s books throughout my life (my mom likes these too) so I need to read this one as well.
BOOK THREE
Hunted by Meagan Spooner. Backlist. Challenges. Retelling. What else? I was supposed to read this for last year Popsugar already but as you can see, it never happened.
BOOK TWO
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I truly liked Cinder and I do believe that these characters in The Lunar Chronicles somehow get together at some point? I obviously don’t know for sure but that’s what I think and want to find out.
BOOK ONE (AND SOME EXTRAS)

The rest of Throne of Glass series. The time has come when I really need to prioritize this series and finish it. I loved the first two books, third one not so much but I really want to know how it all ends for them. BUT! I noticed there’s almost 1000 pages in Kingdom of Ash?! That might be how I spent the rest of my year. 😀
I’ve read Cinder and Scarlet but I never got around to reading Winter, I think it’s about time I pick up the series again. I loved the first two 🙂

It’s ok that you’re early! I’ll just save your link and add you when my post goes up! Hunted was SO good! And, for most people, Scarlet was the slowest book in the series – but I loved it! Hope you love these too!!
