Hi guys! This was actually supposed to be published yesterday but apparently I forgot to schedule it. So I’ll do it now, even though it’s already July.
I’m not freaking out actually! I’m pretty much impressed about my reading so far. Some of you know that I set my Goodreads goal to 20 books. I’ve actually read 33 books so far already, and thus changed my goal twice: first to 30 books and now to 40 books. Usually at this point of the year I’m freaking out because I’m so far behind but this year I win, Goodreads! I’m 14 books ahead, take that!
But let’s get on with the tag shall we? After all that’s what I came here to do.
BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2018
The Nightingale, it hit me the most emotionally and I loved the story and it’s actually the only historical fiction I’ve read this year, what the heck Hanna?!
BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2018
I noticed that I haven’t read that many series this year either. Never mind, Obsidio is by far the best sequel I’ve read this year. And actually first series in a while that I have completed!
NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO
I’m so ready to read this!! My library page says that it’s in transportation at the moment and I’m first in line so it should happen soon! Also, I really really need to buy these for myself.
MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR

These two for sure. Even though I’m no where near that far in either one of the series but still, these two are my most anticipated releases.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT
I had such high hopes for Olympian Challenger but then it ended up being almost nothing like I thought and so it was the biggest disappointment.
BIGGEST SURPRISE

Furiously Happy and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck for sure. These are both nonfiction books which I don’t usually read. But these two surprised me because I really loved them both and I had such a fun times while reading!
FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR (DEBUT OR NEW TO YOU)
NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH
I’ve been telling this all over my social media: facebook, goodreads, twitter, instagram and here. Tamlin is my new husband, at least until book two LOL π
NEWEST FAVORITE CHARACTER
Aristotle and Dante!
BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY
BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAPPY
Have I shoved this book enough everywhere that you have already picked it up and read it?
FAVORITE BOOK TO FILM ADAPTATION YOU SAW THIS YEAR
aaaaaaaaaahhhhh, have I seen any? I really can’t remember for sure but I’m pretty sure I haven’t watched any this year.
FAVORITE REVIEW YOU’VE WRITTEN THIS YEAR
I’m most happy about my review of A Court of Thorns and Roses. I wish all my reviews were like that but I know it won’t happen.
MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU’VE BOUGHT SO FAR THIS YEAR (OR RECEIVED)
Actually bought this on Friday. I’d say this is my favorite cover out of the books I’ve bought this year.
WHAT BOOKS DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR

Ohh I really want to read Furiously Happy now, and Iβm glad you enjoyed The Subtle Art as well. And ahh I need to finally read Aristotle and Dante. π
