Questions and Answers

When you don’t blog, and don’t read, what do you do?
I’ve got three little kids (0-5 years old), dog and hubby and well me? to take care of so pretty much every other minute I’ve got in the day that doesn’t consist blogging or reading goes to them. Sometimes rarely I go to the library alone or I’m riding.

Who is your favourite villain?

Cath, or Queen of Hearts. I don’t think I even had a favorite villain I liked before reading Heartless.

What is the best book you’ve read so far in 2018?
The Nightingale or Furiously Happy. I can’t decide!! But those two are the ones that have stayed with me ever since I’ve read them. I’m saying them both since other one is fiction and the other is non-fiction. 😀

What are your thought on TBR piles?
Stressful?! I just can’t seem to stick with my TBRs at all. I’ve gotten books from library or bought them and then I just realize that I haven’t touched any of those but I have accumulated other books to read..

To unhaul or not to unhaul? What’s your thought on unhauling?
I own only 24 books and those are all the ones that I liked and might reread again. But I do unhaul books that I didn’t like. I like to give books to libraries or charity, then those go to someone who can’t buy books and that’s the way for them to discover the amazing world of books. I’d love to have walls full of books but then at the same time I don’t want to keep the books I didn’t like so maybe someone else will?

Who is your go-to blog/booktube/bookstagrammer for book recommendations? Or do you get recommendations for somewhere else?
I mainly get my recommendations from Goodreads. But I do follow many bloggers/booktubers who have similar taste in books as I do and definitely get to discover new books I’d like to read that I haven’t heard of!

What’s next on your TBR pile? If you don’t do TBRs, what’s the most likely book you’ll read next?
I have no idea! I’ve got quite many ARCs to read so probably some of those. But as for physical books it’s going to be either A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness or The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter since those are two unread books from library.

My Questions

♠ Do you read fan fiction? If so, what’s your favorite?
♠ How you discovered your love for reading?
♠ Has your reading habits changed since you started blogging?
♠ Do you ever feel pressure to write blog posts? If so, how do you deal with it?
♠ Do you schedule posts ahead or write just before you’ll publish?
♠ If you could be any character in any book, who would you be?
The One, who would that be?

Danielle || Life of a Literary Nerd
Donna || Moms Book Collection
Marta || The Cursed Books
Alice || Lowlightlibrary

Please don’t feel pressured/obligated to do this!

  1. Great answers!. I still haven’t read Heartless but it’s on my list. I agree with your unhauling comment, why keep books you don’t like? just get rid of them. I have a few that needs to go soonish. I read a Discovery of Witches in 2016 and had to pick up the second book straight away, it kind of blew me away. I hope you like it 😁
