Hi guys! So I’m currently in progress trying to quit smoking. I’ve been without cigarettes since Sunday now and it is hard, okay. But I counted that without smoking I save my health but 98€ / month as well. And since I decided to quit I’m determined to really put that 98€ aside every month because if I can have that much money to buy cigarettes, I will have that much money to put aside too. Imagine how many books I can get with that money?! Yeah, well I think we’ll use some of that in summer and do some trip or something but I’ll definitely be rewarding myself with books every damn month if I can pull this out!
But enough of my babbles and let’s get to the topic in hand! Top 5 Tuesday is created and hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and todays topic is top 5 books I LOVED that others DIDN’T!
I loved Furiously Happy and will definitely reread it someday! But it does have quite many reviews saying that they DNFd or didn’t get it or even HATE it. I really enjoyed this, I think it’s furiously happy and funny book. I laughed a lot. But maybe it is because I’ve felt the same, had the same problems, I don’t know?
I just recently finished the Problem with Forever. I loved this book so much. I was squealing and crying while listening to the audiobook. But while I was reading the negative reviews (yes, I’m one of those people who likes reading negative reviews..) I can see their POV. There were some things that usually annoy the living out of me but I was so caught up with their story that I kind of ignored all those. Maybe I might have had different experience with the text book but I’m still loving this book. 😀
I enjoyed Blue Bloods so much when I read it. For me it was different from other vampire books! But then again, I’ve only read Twilight and Dinner with a vampire. I’m still planning on continuing with this series and keep on liking it.
I liked this and surprisingly I still remember what happened in it! I thought this was such a unique book and the Revenants where something that have never happened in books before. Well I still think so. For me this was a unique book with different kind of supernaturals in it. Yes, the plot is very same as every other fantasy book but I loved the difference of the Revenants.
“If you’ve ever seen a horror film where zombies relentlessly come after human flesh with single-minded determination, then you’ve got a pretty good idea of how toddlers feel about candy.”
Well I can pretty much say that description fits for my kids. For me this was enjoyable and I had a laugh with it.
Well good for you on the not smoking! Now I loved three of your books so you are not alone 😉

I can’t believe other people didn’t like Furiously Happy?! The Bloggess is amazing, have you read her other book Let’s Pretend This Never Happened?

That’s what I thought too while reading some of the reviews! But maybe you need to have gone through some of that to get the humor? I don’t know.
I haven’t but I did look that up after finishing Furiously Happy and plan to read it at some point!
