Hi guys! I’ve been feeling so energetic now that the influenza is finally fully gone. I’ve been cleaning and arranging everything around our apartment and now I don’t have any housework to do, well of course everything that is done daily but you know. We still need a dishwasher, shelves in living room, something to put the TV on and then table and shelves in our son’s room. Can’t wait to buy all those and get to put everything in place!
Top 5 Tuesday is created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and todays topic is books that lived up to the hype
The Illuminae Files popped in my mind first when I saw this topic. This whole series has been having so much hype and at first I was somewhat suspicious about it really being that good. But now I’m totally on board that hype train and can’t wait for Obsidio!
I’ve heard so much about The Nightingale in the past years since it was first published and all of it was just about how amazing, heartbreaking and good it is. And after I finished it yesterday (yes, my emotions are completely wrecked still), I have nothing bad to say! It definitely lived up to all the hype it’s still getting.
Throne of Glass was published six years ago and it still has so much hype around it! And I’m thankful for that because I don’t think I have ever found out about it last year without it. I truly loved this book!
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe was a book I wasn’t going to read at first, even though it was super hyped and well, I have this thing that I tend to avoid hyped books at first. But then it popped out as an audiobook in my library’s Overdrive while scrolling through and thought, why not then!? And I haven’t regretted that decision. It’s one lovely book!
THUG was so hyped before it was even published! And from there already I knew that I had to read it. Glad I did because it is such an awesome book which I think that everyone should read!! It wouldn’t be bad to include it as a required read at schools, perhaps.
These are my top five books that lived up to all the hype, do we have some same books? If not, what are yours? Well there’s of course always Harry Potter but I think I can exclude it from these lists at least once. 😀
