♦ What book reminds you of a specific place?
I think this is the only book that actually reminds me of some place and that is my step father’s parents’s home. My ‘grandma’ has already passed away couple years ago but ‘grandpa’ still lives there. We were at their house when I first started reading Harry Potter.
♦ What’s your favourite place to visit in your hometown/province/state/country?
This would be our library. We live only one kilometer away from there and that’s were I love to go every week at least once. Usually I don’t even get anything for myself, just for kids, but I just love to go there.
♦ Which author do you admire the most?
This is actually hard. Usually I’d answer J.K. Rowling in instant but now that I actually stop to think about it, I think it’s either Jane Austen or Minna Canth. Probably Minna Canth since she’s Finnish author and she was the one who worked to make women’s right better, to get them to school and all.
♦ Are there any books you would never recommend?
Fifty Shades of Grey. I read the first book and it was horrible, I’ll never recommend that to anyone.
♦ One bookish pet peeve
Uhh, does it count that I hate it when people decide to start to talk to me at the exact moment I start to read? Nothing before that and when I put the book down, they suddenly don’t have anything to say.
♦ Favourite cake flavor?
Strawberry!! Chocolate comes very closely behind
♦ Do you have a favourite piece of jewellery?
I don’t really use jewellery. But I always have rings on me so those maybe? Though now my fingers are so swollen that nothing’s gonna fit 😀
♦ If you were on a game show, which song would they play when you entered? (what song is your theme song??)
Mulan’s I’ll make a man out of you 😀
♦ Which bookish world would you want to visit?
Harry Potter, obviously
♦ If you had to give your parents a book, which would it be?
I think my mother should really read The Hate U Give, she’d learn a lot from it. For my dad though I’d give one of Ilkka Remes’s books.
♦ What is the most beautiful book cover you’ve ever seen?
There’s so many! But I’ll just put up Illuminae here. I really love the colors of this cover.
♦ What is your favourite quote?
That one in my sidebar:
“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
― Oscar Wilde
♦ What are some of your favourite bands/singers?
I don’t really have any favorites. I mean I only ever listen to music if I’m driving alone in my car, which is almost never. And when I read, I listen to soundtracks. But to say at least someone, I really like this young Finnish boy, Robin.
♦ What is your most hated book trope?
Probably the fact that there’s hardly ever parents in books. And if there is, they are completely useless.
♦ Any favourite hobbies besides reading?
♦ A book that you absolutely hated and everyone else loved it?
♦ On what social media platform do you spend most of your time?
Wordpress and facebook
♦ What do you like the most about blogging?
That I get to connect with all these amazing book bloggers and share our thoughts about books we read.
♦ Who is your favourite female character? (you can pick more than one)
Celaena from Throne of Glass, Hermione from Harry Potter and Starr from The Hate U Give
♦ What underrated book you’d want everyone to read?
Just gonna put some books I enjoyed and haven’t seen anyone else read
♦ Your top five favourite authors
J.K. Rowling, Sarah J. Maas, Nora Roberts, Cassandra Clare and Anna-Leena Härkönen
And that’s the end of it! I’m sorry but I’m not going to nominate anyone this time, neither am I making any questions. But very big thanks to you both for nominating me! ❤
