Hi guys! Today we have something little different here at Hanna Reads, something that is new to me and new to this little blog of mine: Mystery blogger award!
I was nominated by the lovely Alex from coffeelovingbookoholic. A big fat thank you Alex! And all of you guys, if you haven’t already, go check out her blog now!

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

3 Things about myself

♦ I’m a huge introvert, socially awkward and really shy. I get really tired from being social with other people, it’s actually tiring for me to even interact with my kids some days if I’ve had a long day interacting with others already and that makes me feel really bad. I mostly just want to stay home with only my family because it gets annoying that others don’t really understand that I’m not angry or anything, I’m just simply too exhausted to interact with people.

♦ I’ve had a dream since I was a little kid that someday I’ll have a big farm of my own with horses and dogs around. I’m determined to fulfill that dream someday!

♦ What else? Uhm I have this disgusting habit to bite my fingernails whenever I’m nervous. I’m currently studying at high school? (not sure if that’s the correct word) to get the points needed to get in college (I think that’s the correct word) to be a midwife. You might be thinking that I’m already an adult with two kids and one on the way, why am I in high school? Well the schooling systems are a bit different here in Finland, I think. And when I finished junior high school, I went to study to be a farrier. But later on was discovered that my back is in bad shape and I couldn’t do that. I’ve always wanted a career with horses but since that wasn’t and option for me anymore, I started working towards to being a midwife. And let’s keep thumbs up that I’ll achieve that one day! I only have one year of high school now and hopefully I’ll get in the right college after that.

Questions

Recommend one bookstore you love and tell us why you love it?
I have to say Book Depository. That’s the place where I buy all my books. I know it’s an online store but that’s the place where I can get the books in English. We do have bookstores here in Finland, of course, but the books are in Finnish. It’s really hard to find books in English and usually when I spot one, it’s not something I want to read.

What were the last three books you bought?
Milk and Honey, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

If you’d win in the lottery right now, what would be the first thing you would do?
I’d buy us a house with big yard! It’s not really that fun living in a apartment building with a lot of noisy neighbors, super small elevator (our daughter’s carriage doesn’t fit in it and we live on the fourth floor) and dog who’s scared of stairs.

If you could be any animal for one day, which one would it be?
I’d like to be our dog. I’d really love to know what the heck is going on in her head all day long. Especially at times like last winter when she thought that this huge snow plow would be really nice playmate. Or when she thinks that everything is edible, no matter what it is. Or that leaves are super scary and they will come and kill you but if someone is trying to break in your house, you’ll just go and kiss them. She’s super weird 😀

How would your perfect library/reading room look like?

Something like this. A big window (I don’t know why I want that, I hate cleaning windows) with view to the forest or sea or my own yard with stable etc. Window bench, couple big soft armchairs and a lot of books.

My best post would be TOP 5 Tuesday : Hidden Gems In Fantasy

  1. Yay – thanks for the nomination doll face!
I never would have guessed you were an introvert, given all the fun bookish convos we’ve been having, but then again, I noticed that a lot of book lovers really are introverts.
I’ve had a similar dream myself but mine is more like a huge garden – I’m really hoping to live in Provence, France one day or in the countryside in England, we’ll see. 😀
You’re dream library looks exactly what it is – DREAMYYYY. I’d love to have a window seat, so ideal.
