Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. You can participate it too! Just answer the three questions below.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Yes, I’m still reading the same book that I read last Wednesday. But as much as I love historical fiction, this book just ain’t for me.
I’m currently on page 210, not even halfway through. It’s just not holding my interest at all but I don’t want to DNF it either. So I’ll try to read this again now, at least 100 pages, before starting next book. Who knows, maybe I can even finish this before next weeks WWW.
I dropped out from All The Light We Cannot See and started to read Initiated to Kill. That was a nice decision since I managed to finish that one and also quite liked it. I’ll get the review out tomorrow, hopefully. I’ll say this was a Jack the Ripper re-telling. And as much as that intrigued me, I was a bit disappointed. It was confusing and sometimes even boring for me.
Milk and Honey was something I read yesterday evening in one sitting. Like I said last week, I don’t know anything about poetry or even know how that’s supposed to be reviewed. I’m still not going to write any review about this but I’ll just say that this was so damn beautiful and intense! If you haven’t read it yet, I suggest you go and do that.
♦ The Old Man and The Princess is still on my TBR since I didn’t manage to read it this week. So I’ll be trying to get into it before next weeks WWW!
♦ Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. It is on my books-to-buy list but I managed to find it from our library yesterday! So it is pretty high on my TBR since I can hold it for limited time only and I want to get to it as soon as possible. Yes the hype might have something to do with it but also, it’s from Harry Potter world!!!
♦ Fahrenheit 451. I’m going to be honest with this one. This cover was the reason it caught my eye at our library and that’s the reason I borrowed it. I still have no idea what it’s about but I’ll be reading it next week, hopefully.
I still doubt I’ll finish All The Light We Cannot see before next Wednesday because I don’t want to push myself to read it so much that it’ll throw me into a slump. But I’ll try to make some progress and when it gets “hard” enough, I’ll just jump to the next book. These are my Ws, what are yours?
