TOP 5 TUESDAY : 5 Book Recommendations For Beginners

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Basically every week there’s different topic to list your own top 10, though I do them as top 5. Todays topic is Ten book recommendations for ______________ and I chose top 5 books for beginners. Which means that I have picked five books that are kind of simple and not that long to read or something captivating, at least for me.

      1. Harry Potter series
This is the series that really got me into reading. It’s captivating story hooks you up from the very beginning. There’s different threat in every book and though it is a long series of books, it has something new going on in every book. First book is over 300 pages long but that goes in a whim once you sit down and get in to it.
      2. The Little Prince
“Moral allegory and spiritual autobiography, The Little Prince is the most translated book in the French language. With a timeless charm it tells the story of a little boy who leaves the safety of his own tiny planet to travel the universe, learning the vagaries of adult behavior through a series of extraordinary encounters. His personal odyssey culminates in a voyage to Earth and further adventures.”
It’s very short book with an amazing story for everyone to read!
      3. The Sun Is Also A Star
“The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?”
Fast romance read. It’s easy read for a beginner with a lot of romance, coincidences and fate.
      4. Fangirl
“Cath and Wren are identical twins, and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they’re off to university and Wren’s decided she doesn’t want to be one half of a pair any more – she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. It’s not so easy for Cath. She would rather bury herself in the fanfiction she writes where there’s romance far more intense than anything she’s experienced in real life.”
Young Adult contemporary book. It doesn’t have any difficult plot to get into or anything else. It’s about Cath’s life at university without her twin sister always at her side. Contains romance, fangirling, frienships etc.
      5. If I Was Your Girl
“Amanda Hardy is the new girl at school.
Like everyone else, all she wants is to make friends and fit in. But Amanda is holding back. Even from Grant, the guy she’s falling in love with.
        Amanda has a secret.
At her old school, she used to be called Andrew. And secrets always have a way of getting out.
A book about loving yourself and being loved for who you really are.”
Something that I think everyone should read and it’s easy enough for beginners to get into too!
